Hon. Mrs. Theresa Odachi Ikwue was appointed as the Commissioner for Women Affairs in 2023. With over 18 years of experience in gender advocacy and community development, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the role.

- Overall supervision of the Ministry’s activities
- Policy formulation and implementation for women’s empowerment
- Coordination with other MDAs on gender-related issues
- Representation of the Ministry at state and national levels

Mrs Martha Edor
Permanent Secretary
Mrs Martha Edor is the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, bringing over 25 years of experience in public administration. She provides administrative leadership and ensures the smooth operation of the Ministry.
